Resources

Evidence-based tools to support calm, resilience and emotional wellbeing

This space offers a growing collection of carefully created resources designed to support your mental and emotional wellbeing, at your own pace and in your own time.

All resources are grounded in therapeutic practice and informed by my clinical experience working with anxiety, stress and trauma. They are designed to be practical, calming and easy to integrate into everyday life, particularly if you are busy or feeling overwhelmed.

Using therapy-informed resources

Sometimes you may want support outside of therapy sessions, or you may prefer to begin gently and independently. These resources can be used:

  • As a standalone form of support

  • Alongside ongoing therapy

  • To reinforce skills and techniques learned in sessions

  • At times when attending therapy feels difficult or impractical

They are intended to help you feel calmer, more grounded and better able to manage stress and emotional demands.

Downloadable hypnotherapy sessions

I offer a range of professionally recorded hypnotherapy and guided relaxation sessions that you can download and use whenever it suits you.

These sessions are designed to:

  • Support relaxation and nervous system regulation

  • Reduce anxiety, stress and overwhelm

  • Improve sleep and rest

  • Build confidence and emotional resilience

  • Encourage positive, sustainable behaviour change

Each session is simple to use and can be listened to in the comfort of your own home, whether that is during quiet time, before sleep, or as part of a regular self-care routine.

E-books and self-guided learning

My e-book, The Calm Within the Chaos, is a practical, trauma-informed guide to understanding stress and building lasting resilience.

It combines clear explanations with accessible techniques to help you:

  • Understand how stress affects your mind and body

  • Work with your nervous system rather than against it

  • Reduce overwhelm and anxiety

  • Develop healthier, more sustainable coping strategies

This resource is particularly suited to busy professionals who want evidence-based support they can return to at their own pace.

Online courses

I am currently developing a series of online courses focusing on topics such as stress management, mindfulness and emotional regulation.

These courses offer structured, therapist-led guidance with practical exercises and tools you can use in everyday life, bridging the gap between self-help and one-to-one therapy.

How to use Stepping Stones self-hypnosis downloads

To achieve the best results while using our self-hypnosis sessions, please follow the guidelines below:

  1. These sessions are designed to induce a deep feeling of relaxation. Pease do not listen to them while you are driving or operating machinery.

  2. I recommend listening to your audio every day for the first week, then as often as you find useful after that.

  3. This is your time: try to ensure that you will not be disturbed or distracted during your session.

  4. Make sure you are comfortable before you start the session: ensure you don’t need to use the toilet; find a quiet place where you can relax; make sure you are warm enough.

  5. It is preferable not to consume any caffeinated drinks or alcohol before using our sessions.

  6. Try to leave 2-3 hours after exercising before listening to the session

There is no right or wrong response to listening to these audios. Some people fall asleep, others remain awake and aware of every word; others may drift in and out of awareness. However you experience it, the therapy will continue to be effective.

Please note that everyone is different and therefore results and response times will vary from person to person
